The Swiss-Hungarian soprano, Szabina Schnöller finished her studies as a student of László Polgár at the Conservatorium of Zürich and obtained her degree as a classical musician and soloist in 2009.
She was the member of the Swiss Opera Studio between 2010 and 2012. In 2011 she finished 1st at the international Schlossoper Haldenstein opera competition and debuted as Violetta (La Traviata).
Important opera roles: Governess (The Turn of the Screw); Susanne (Mozart: The Marriage of Figaro) – Zürich Kulturmarkt, Violetta (La Traviata) – Schloss Haldenstein, Tonhalle Zürich, Theater Lindau; Rosalinde (Die Fledermaus / The Bat), Donna Anna (Don Giovanni), Mrs. Ford (Salieri: Falstaff), and Lisa (Das Land des Lächelns / The Land of Smiles) – Theater Biel, Solothurn.
Next to opera roles, songs and oratories are also present in her repertoire. Since 2017 she regularly appears on stage with the Bremen Philharmonic Orchestra. She worked with such conductors like Marko Letonja, Michael Schønwandt, Nathan Brock, Dominik Beykirch, and Zsolt Hamar.
This year the audience met her as the Countess (Mozart: The Marriage of Figaro), and next season she debuts as Konstanza (Mozart: The Abduction from the Seraglio).
